2006-2007 CHAMBER CHOIR DEBUT CONCERT

The 2006-2007 Chamber Choir will debut on the Pebblebrook stage this Monday night, at 7:30 pm in a joint concert with the COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON CONCERT CHOIR!

The concert will begin with the Pebblebrook premiere of American composer David Conte's spectacular work for piano duet and chorus, INVOCATION AND DANCE. Next, the College of Charleston Concert Choir will perform a full concert, and the Pebblebrook Chamber Choir and Chorale will join them for the classic HARK I HEAR THE HARPS ETERNAL and Lutkin's BENEDICTION.

That was a lot of fun reading through the Gospel Mass in 5th today! The Pebblebrook Gospel Choir has invited Chorale to join them on the work in the Gospel Choir's spring concert! (Date to be determined...)

97 PEBBLEBROOK SINGERS MAKE ALL-STATE

CONGRATS to the 97 Pebblebrook singers who made All-State this year!!! Now it's time to learn the music and get ready for a great trip to Savannah... Those of us who didn't make it, let's not be discouraged!! Everyone worked hard and showed great improvement in preparing for a lifetime of singing--and that's what this is all about.

CANTUS VISITS PEBBLEBROOK ON 2007 TOUR!

Plans are almost finalized for the world-renowned male a cappella ensemble named CANTUS to do a workshop at Pebblebrook High School on March 22nd! On the evening of March 22nd, the Pebblebrook Chamber Choir will open for Cantus in their concert at First Presbyterian Church on Peachtree Street!

EIGHTEEN VOICE AT GARRETT MIDDLE SCHOOL

EIGHTEEN VOICE gave a fantastic first performance today for an audience of 8th graders at Garrett Middle School. The EIGHTEEN's next performance is for an audience of Dickerson students in the Dickerson Theatre during the school day on October 25th.

All-State in Savannah

Pebblebrook Singers--you have to see this! This is the choir blog of one of the best choirs in the world. Many of you in Chamber heard their stirring performance in West Virginia last year...
